Really interesting, beautiful gallery displays and garden. And its free to visit. Give yourself enough time to take it all in.

A gem among local museums, this museum seems small but actually contains many hidden treasures -- as well as constantly changing exhibitions.

My favorite thing in it is the 5-wheeled bike that someone in Horsham once invented for the Post Office to use. The Post Office decided not to!

A wonderful museum with well executed special displays which are changed regularly. The permanent exhibitions are fascinating and extensive. There is a lovely garden and the museum is located in a beautiful period house in The Causeway. We have spent many enjoyable hours here on our regular visits from Leatherhead and have found the staff to be unerring helpful, as well as knowledgeable.

Dear Caroline Thank you for your wonderful review. As you may be aware the museum is currently closed until Summer 2021 due to the Covid-19 outbreak. However behind the scenes we are working hard to improve our customer offer ready for the re-opening next year. We look forward to welcoming you back on your trips over from Leatherhead. Regards Jeremy

Having recently been to a similar small town museum in Cornwall that was suitably ambitious but not quite there with it's displays, we entered this place with a bit of trepidation. We were rewarded for our efforts with a veritable feast. Quite a full museum with a variety of theme's in its displays. A good exhibition on Shelley whom they could make even more of. Definitely worth a peruse on a wet or windy winters day.

Not a big museum but very interesting although probably too many exhibits in a small space. Interesting art exhibition too. Could easily spend a couple of hours here.

Have jut visited the Horsham Museum and Art Gallery. It looks small but its very deceptive. Its packed with so many wonderful things to see. We spent over two hours there and it was really very interesting. Its free but donations are welcome and I think important to help keep it going. The artwork on show was excellent. There is a small giftshop area but no tearoom. However its just off a busy shopping area with plenty of teashops, pubs etc. Friendly staff made for an enjoyable day. Well worth a visit.

Thank you for you wonderful review and we will certainly forward it to the whole team who will appreciate the feedback. We are very proud of the quality of the artwork that we are able to display - many of which are talented artists from the Horsham District. Kind regards Jeremy

I am a Dorking museum volunteer so this was totally different older building and some displays outside of Horsham items
I assume they have a bit more room for this.
The dear little garden is worth going to when in town

My grandson (age 7) doesn't like the "m" word (museum) so I told him we were going to visit an old quirky house. We spent nearly 2 hours there as he loved it!! His favourite bits were the rocks/gems, the old tools, the jail and the sweet machine. I often pop in for the odd visit to look at the special exhibitions. A great place to visit!! My grandson has already told me he wants to come here again.... Praise indeed 😁
