As a landing point for the ferry this is a useful structure on the river. The Bar/Restaurant located here looked dark and unfriendly so we only used the pier to get onto and off of the ferry boat. Good place to take photos of the...More

Old metal river pier. Nowadays it's the way onto the Ferry. Restaurant at the end next to a friendly pub at the beginning. Worth a visit when visiting the town.

A fantastic place, I enjoy visiting once in a while. It has been renovated you know with new paint and steel. Watching the Thames Wilde life, yachts and RNLI is good.

To walk out onto the pier and than onto the pontoon is quite relaxing and gives one a view of Gravesend from out in the river Thames.

The oldest iron pier structure in Europe hold the Town Pier above the River Thames. It has been refurbished throughout and now has a restaurant and floating pontoon. The floating pontoon allows easy access to the Tilbury / Gravesend ferry.

This is the oldest metal town pier and is a must for people to stroll onto and look at. It also has a very good restaurant on the pier for special occasions.

Nothing special. Just a short walk looking at the Thames. I would not make a special trip to visit this attraction. I live close to the town pier, so I just thought I would take a look while I was in town.

The pier is the oldest iron pier but all it has on it as an overpriced bar. Not the best experience and I think it should have the bar taken away and a proper tourist centre attached.
