It is a good for pedestrians to walk from the dual carriageway to Whalley New Road. It is a real shame that some of the old graves have been vandalised in this historic graveyard.

The giant's grave is near the top as is the founder of Blackburn Rovers. there is a memorial with all the names of those who lost lives in the wars. It is hilly and a good work out for those who are fit.
