If you are a lover of real ale then this is the place for you. Cosy country pub with top beer brewed on site, with very knowledgeable staff

We called in on a Sunday evening. Really pleased at the amount of cask beers on tap, The staff were very helpful and knew their ales. I was very pleasantly surprised at the excellent value in pricing and the third of a pint glasses so...More

I go to the black bull a few times a month, best value for money any where around Lancashire excellent chose of beer and the prices are brilliant, could do with a little bit better deco and more seating,

Attended a friends retirement do here, what a nice pub! Lots of staff, all very friendly... The selection of beers was unbelievable, there is literally something for everyone.. If you like cask ale this is a place you must visit!

This is what a pub should be. A large selection of outstanding beers with a relaxing and welcoming ambiance. Two fires in winter no juke box you will not want to leave. Many pubs would not survive without serving food. This one does and very...More
