Great place to go for a bee 🐝r or three, lovely outdoor venue , lovely staff. Brewing their own bee 🐝r. Real ales 🐝👏. Would highly recommend.

It’s already an outstanding pub when there is plenty comfy seating, 2 coal fires, no juke box, no tv, and no fruit machine. But when you add 8 excellent hand pulled beers and a nice range of gins it just gets better. And when the...More

I go to the black bull a few times a month, best value for money any where around Lancashire excellent chose of beer and the prices are brilliant, could do with a little bit better deco and more seating,

Superb choice of cask beers all brewed in the brewery attached to the pub . A varied selection from tradition bitters and mild to blonde bees and stouts all in good condition. No food just the beer to speak for itself . Large car park...More

Attended a friends retirement do here, what a nice pub! Lots of staff, all very friendly... The selection of beers was unbelievable, there is literally something for everyone.. If you like cask ale this is a place you must visit!
