Lovely beach nice and quiet can sunbath in peace and also go surfing as waves are good not many places to park but worth the walk as the views are great as well

With reasonable free parking and a clean sandy beach, that is dog friendly, Compton Beach is worth a visit. The beach has suffered from cliff erosion, so walking the cliff edge needs to be done with care; and there is fallen debris along the beach.

This is a lovely big beach. There is very easy access down onto the sand via the well built sturdy steps. Even on a windy winters day it is lovely to walk along. There is a good sized parking area on the cliff.

A lovely stretch of the Isle of Wight a great beach with a lovely Freshwater Bay nearby by with lovely walks and Tennyson down nearby .

You can park on the grass, along Military Road, as long as you don't obstruct the traffic or park dangerously. However the spaces available on the grass verge tend to get snapped up quickly, during the holiday periods... More

No it's probably more driving distance the beach is easy to access everything else you would need a car
