If you like cactus, a must see. When not especcially interested, you're better of visiting Marimurtra which is more complete. Our kids loved it but it's quit small.

An other great botanic garden, the excellent climat alowed the exotic plants to grow so wonderful in this region, all sorts of cactus, for cactus lovers, exotic flowers, agave, also in flowers, the latin names and origins of the plants were indicated; I really appreciate this nice visit to pinya de Rosa.

I have been accused on occasion of having a somewhat niche set of holiday ambitions. One of these is walking round a magnificent collection of cacti and succulents in a beautiful hillside setting overlooking the sea. If in the unlikely event you share this enthusiasm give serious consideration to these gardens Take no heed of other reviews bemoaning the run... More

If you love cactus this is a must seeing them growing in their own habitat , but really this cactus garden could do with a focal bit at the entrance say a really good cafe where you could buy the delicious local cakes and enjoy them with a coffe .If they did this it would encorage more people to go... Many parts of the gardens (including the above picture) were closed off. If you like cactus and are a botanical enthusiast you'll be fine but not much info for the average person. Took us 20 mins to get round then had a weird coffee from the vending machine! If you are on the Botanic Bus don't let them drop you... More

Visited Pinya de Rosa on Wednesday 29th June with my partner and 2 children. We had travelled by train from Santa Susanna to Blanes then took a taxi to Plaza Catalunya to get on the open top tourist train to do the Gardens and Beaches tour. It was an ideal day for the tour as it was very cloudy and... More

Visited here after seeing the botanical gardens... Have to say it was a little disappointing. It all seemed a little bit random how it was set out. Some looked rather in need of some tlc. Everything was very dry and tired. Cost €4 each... Wasn't a patch on the botanical gardens which was only €1.50 more. There's nothing here that... More

If you are a fan of Cactus, then this is for you. A very well kept garden in a lovely forest setting. You get the transport from the town, it is a train type affair.

Very nice botanic garden, well kept, my favorites in the area are however those more wild and private. This garden is next to a very nice beach with big wild rock formations. You should turn left from the exit when you come from the garden, then keep going until there is path on left down to sea. Its said to... More
