Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

We visited this beach on a warm sunny day in mid November so it's hardly surprising that the beach was almost empty. There were even a few people having a swim ( too cold for us ).
This beach is easily accesible both by car and on foot.

Love this place for the beautiful coloured water and excellent snorkelling. Can get crowded so come early. Sea usually flat and calm in morning but will get rougher as the day goes on. Pedalos and kayaks available to rent and a beachside bar for lunch and a drink. Toilet and life guard at busy times.

Definitely worth the walk from Blanes, past the botanical gardens and down to this secluded but busy beach. Lovely place for swimming and taking the sun, we were there on a Sunday and the beach bar was packed all day.

A hidden gem of a bay but no public transport to it. Allow at least 45 minutes to walk there but routes are hilly so maybe a taxi needed. Grea for sunbathing and swimjing in clear bl water. There is also a very good restaurant thete called Cala Bona

Crystal clear waters, sandy beach, restaurant and rocks for snorkelling. Well what more do you want? This is a destination beach where you could spent a day. Parking is possible on the cliff above with a short and attractive walk down to the sea. I suspect the main problem is that it gets very busy compared to my visit in April.

I've been there since I was a kid and I could see the evolution of the place... In the 80' it was like a desert beach, now if you doesn't arrive early in the morning you can't almost find a place... It's pity!!!

A much nicer, quainter beach than the main ones in blanes. We didn’t actually set out to go to this beach,we where actually looking for Forcanera beach which is between blanes town and Francesc beach but would appear to be inaccessible by foot. Francesc beach has a restaurant and public toilets as well as a life guard. Highly recommended.

Beautiful spot to walk to from Blanes. Picturesque. A small little cove with one very bustling restaurant (Cala Bona).

We have been to this beach last year and loved it. Returning this year we were grossly disappointed with the experience. The beach gets crowded which is understandable and forgivable in high season because it has showers, toilets and a restaurant. What is not is the carpet of floating rubbish and general detritus in the bay. Maybe it got washed down in the strorms 10 days previously but to not attempt cleaning is inexcusable. Feminine hygiene products, single use plastics used to wrap condoms do not make a pleasant bathing experience. A motor boat and fine net and 30 mins work would transform it.

Beautiful small beach with rocks for snorkeling. In july and august it is very busy, but the rest of the year it is nice and quiet.
