Welcome to the private living space of Dali. This was a fun tour- it was great to see a more intimate side of Dali and his quirkiness. I especially loved the idea of the cricket cage in his bedroom on the wall- what a clever idea- a primitive "white noise" machine, ingenious! After having been at the Dali museum in... More

After visiting Figueres for the Dali Theatre-Museum we continued on to Cadaques for lunch and then on to Port Lligat to visit Dali's home. This was all part of the Tour4Fun Costa Brava Day Tour out of Barcelona. The home consisted of many rooms each providing a look into Dali's life and work. Between the visit to his museum and... By the time we left here, we knew more about Dali than could ever be expected. What a wild and crazy guy! The tours here are small 8-10 per entry (every 10 mins) and entry time strictly adhered to. But once the tour guide leaves you off after the internal house tour (which is way cool), you can wander around... More

Alaways a fan of Dali, to walk in his house and look around felt gr8. Watching the sliding canvas apparatus, his colors stored below the staircase, the rock from the window he added in so many painting. Felt really nice. And to catch the bibbendum by the pool is delicious. Great place, smaller than I had ever thouhgt with many... More

There's a lot of hype about Dali. People in the area spends their days on the Dali trail, waiting in lines, dealing with the hordes at the Figueres museum, buying the knick-knacks, and getting sucked into his narcissistic circus. The whole thing rings a little insincere to me. But on the other hand, it was pleasant to see where and... More

At a very nice place at Portlligat (2 km from Cadaques) it is a must for all admirers of Dali to see his home and working place. Only in very small groups you can visit this place, therefore reservation should be made beforehand. You will be amazed how cozy and comfortable Dali lived!

Highly recommend this special tour. Not a huge Dali fan but seeing his house and the intimacy of the life he lived with his wife changed my view.

Although not a particular fan of Dali, the home he shared with his wife was well worth the pleasant walk from Cadaques. The structure of the seven conjoined fisherman's huts, Dali's studio, the tiered gardens, and the swimming pool (!) offered an illuminating perspective into the artist and his life. NOTE: You must purchase tickets well in advance as only... More

Dali lived here buying up a series of Fishermans Cottages to create a unique home. Suprisngly small and modest. Very interesting house and garden but only around 45mins to cover. Part of it is compulsory guided tour limited to 8 at a time. Beware that eating places don’t open if slightly out if season and there is nowhere to get... More
