About
We do pick ups in CORRALEJO AND LAJARES where we meet the guests to start the surf day. We are a surf Academy for people willing to learn to surf or keep on learning in a serious and exclusive way ! We take our time...we are not a surf industry. Alex the teacher teaches in English, French, German, Dutch, Spanish & Italian ! Alex teaches to small groups (max. 6 students) for a personalized, fun and performing course! Average age 20 - 35 yo. / Family welcomed ! Most of the customers are beginners to intermediate, We run surf clinic for advanced surfers too We have different accommodation available upon request from a bed in a dorm to an Ensuite Bed room at the surf camp, or our tips to find your dreamy private accommodation. We organise social event, dinners, BBQ, volcano hikes, yoga and more. Our office is located at our private address. For surf classes/ surfari, we pick you up directly at your accommodation or at the surf camp. Shall you wish to meet us, please make an appointment.

Great surfcourse, great surf school. The combinatio with surfskate and subsequent surfing was pretty good and helped a lot to get the feeling with the board. The surf instructors Alex and Gary gave lots of feedback and the atmosphere was super nice. The communication was constantly fast and realiable. I can only recommend the school.

The surf lessons with Alex and his team are great and you learn a lot in a short time. In addition to the surfing, there's also the right amount of theory and surf skating to learn the right movements on the board. I also found the photo session very helpful, where Alex took pictures, so that we can easily learn from our own mistakes.

Best surf experience ever. No comparison with any other surf school, Aloha is the only way to embrace the surf spirit.
Alex will carry you around the island with the best van you'll see around, and he will share all his huge knowledge about surf!

I had an amazing experience. I’ve booked one day just to see how it goes for the first time, and I’m already thinking of the next course! We’ve learned the necessary amount of theory before getting in the water, and there was plenty of time to practice. The instructor is very competent, pays attention to all participants, and has also a great sense of humour! :)

Have you ever dreamed of learning to surf?
Not just getting up on the board and surfing, but learning what surfing teaches.
I have taken over 40 surf classes in fuerteventura, mexico, france, and still trying to get up on my board. Then I got scared going out alone, & gave up on surfing for 1 year.
What Aloha Surf Academy Offers is unique and they call it a "surf lesson", but in my humble opinion, borderline insulting, compared to the out of this world and incredible experience that is offered, it is unique.
What you get:
Individual pick-up at the hotel or at a meeting point.
Surfskating lesson to learn balance, position, movements, all on land, with Individual, personalised advice, adapted to each person, I rediscovered surfSkate.
Team spirit building for the day, laughs, adjusting, more practice and off to the beach.
Beach session includes:
Security briefing, Safety measures, Emergency number...
Waves explanations
Warm-up & dry practice
we laughed more, hyper educational, loads of metaphors, analogies, and humour key
Water time
Alex corrects us and guides us from the beach, it's not a "I push you and get up". It's you who does it, directly!
He fine-tunes, corrects, shows you, verbalises, and you go back in.
After a good hour, we took a break, spoke about energy, oxygen, muscles, how to connect to our body, and got a big Breathwork session, releasing the tensions, reconnecting to our body, to the push, to the movement, and back to the water, new session.
ending with a very complete stretching, and at 4:30 pm, tired, smiles on our faces, we go back home.
A Mind-boggling and amazing experience that lasted over 6 hours.
Reconnected to the desire to go in the water, no more fear, I rediscovered surfing. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

My surf course experience with team Aloha has been SO great! I am so happy that I booked my surf trip with Aloha Surf Academy in Fuerteventura! I feel that I have learned so much during my 11 day course and just improved so much as a beginner.
A big thanks and shout out to Alex and Manu for their high quality of teaching and patience, and for really just keeping their instruction simple and easily understandable for newbies to surfing, and to Sophie for providing a really great service via email and Whatsapp when booking the surf course.
This was my first time in Corralejo and I will definitely be back again and surf with Aloha Surf Academy.

Alex is a super skillfull teacher that is truly interested to help you become a better surfer. It was a super nice and welcoming vibe and the experience goes further then just surfing e. g. mental training, wipe out training... (although surfing was of course the main part with two sessions a day)

I've tried a few surf schools last year, but Aloha is really different. I really enjoyed the teaching methodology (starting from the skate-surfing lesson), the kind and very attentive team, all committed to making you have the best experience.
Lessons are given in small groups and the passionate teacher corrects and helps each one individually to progress with the best technique. I learned a lot and had great fun in the best spots of the island!
