    Santuari De Lucc monastery
Visited here 2x on holiday in the 10 days we were away lovely peaceful place and friendly staff. The church was lovely got to light some candles in the church also. The cafeteria served lovely coffee and Home made cakes. Parking cost around €8 we were the couple hours not sure what it if there a hourly rate parking? You can pay by cash, coins or cards if need be. The gift shop has plenty off stuff to buy fairly cheap too.

A place to see on the way
Paid parking very close to the santuario with a cafe . The buildings were impressive, as were the statues of previous priests that ran the place. The actual santuario was beautiful, with a very impressive ceiling, and we saw the black Madonna and Jesus.

    Worth a visit
It was very peaceful and beautiful. There weren’t very many tourists it was very quiet. You can get a nice cup of coffee and some decent food at the venue, unfortunately the monks were not singing that day. The parking costs €8 even if you’re there for 10 minutes the drive is quite scenic but highly recommended.

    Longer required than we had.
I visited with daughter and grandson on coach tour from Cala Millor. After a 1 ÂĽ Hour drive arriving at 10:15, we had to be back on the coach at 11am. Which did not give us much time at all, and of course the toilets were required by the coach load first. The Monastry church was not what we expected in the mountains, it was more like a city Catholic Cathedral. The garden was up some steps but not time to explore or visit the cafe and shop, sadly. whilst ther is freedom in going in a car, I would not like to tackle those unfamiliar and narrow hairpin bends from Cala Millor in a car.

Wonderful for refreshment spiritual and physical
I come to stay at lluc every year in July and I love it here. I find the ambiance peaceful and meditative. Great for walking in the mountains and swimming in the pool afterwards. I love both! Even came twice in pandemic time when visitors were few. The sacred heart missionaries of Mallorca who ran the church till 2020 have now decamped to Barcelona, and the church is now run by priests of the Palma diocese.

A wonderful place, even if you are not spiritual! We enjoyed the peace and the beautiful atmosphere there. The Madonna and Basilica can be seen for free. You can feel that it exudes something special. At 1:15 p.m. the children's choir sings three songs, and for a small donation you can hear them in the basilica. The basilica is unusual, a very different church to what we are used to in Germany. Another highlight was the botanical garden, very lovingly designed, with a tiny waterfall that flows through the garden and many small, beautifully designed elements. But you should be able to walk safely in your shoes and also be able to climb some stairs. The parking lot is expensive, eight euros for a day would be OK, but if you were only there for a few hours, the same price is charged. Overall, including the adventurous journey, it was a wonderful day in the Lluc monastery.

The environment is spectacular and the treatment is magnificent. But it seems excessively expensive for what the room has. The bathroom is small and has a very very noisy extractor fan. The beds are also very noisy every time you move they squeak, so despite the silence and tranquility of the place I have slept badly. The mattress is very uncomfortable, they would need to change it and give the decoration a new look for the price it has.

Strange place. Expected something old but this was all relatively modern architecturally. And all rather run down and uncared for. Just seemed to be a trap for tourists with multiple snack bars selling ordinary fare. Yes, there is a famous religious icon at its heart but overall very disappointing. Walked round to "acclaimed" garden, walked up steps, took one look and walked off back to car. The sort of place a tourist bus can park easily and deposit a bus load for a couple of hours whilst they wander pointlessly... One to avoid.

it is not a monastery but rather "the temple merchants". Calm in the morning, but invaded by a horde of tourists during the day who rush to the official store and to the stands selling anything and everything which spoil the pretty alleys of the monastery.
The reception is overwhelmed at check-in time (two people, one of which is of no use), noise in the rooms (shower and toilet leaks) and in the tiled corridor, doors slamming because the bellhops are not working , no mobile network in the rooms. only the chapel is worth the visit, as well as the naturalist center outside the monastery with a beautiful exhibition.
It seems that the rooms reserved by booking.com are the worst (horrible view) yet at a high price especially in season.
breakfast ok but lots of canned goods (pineapple, apricot, pears).

Pros:
1. beautiful view,
2. clean pool

of the minuses:
1. There are never enough plates, mugs, coffee at breakfast. You have to clear the tables yourself to sit down
2. asked to reserve a large table for 9 people for breakfast. Told the reception, bartender and waiter, reactions 0
3. we have 3 rooms, 1 apartment and 2 regular rooms, they cleaned the regular room once, in the apartments the towel can be changed every three days, they asked to change it, someone wrote to someone, in the end in the evening I went to change it myself
4. none of the rooms have a safe, the apartments are like a bunker, no internet or connection, you have to go outside to talk.
The regular rooms don't even have a small refrigerator.
Why isn't there a kettle in the apartments?!
5. the apartment windows overlook the employees' parking lot and at 6am you'll be listening to music from their cars while they smoke. good f@*king morning

Various walks for all abilities in a tranquil setting. Plenty of cafes too. A wonderful place to spend the day “Lluc is nature’s open book which invites us to stop and read it’s pages”
