Within Ubeda's old quarter, this square is one of the nicest places in a really beautiful old town. Absolutely well preserved, all buildings there are from previous historical times.

All the buildings are beautiful around this square. It is wide and peaceful. We missed some liveliness for the lack of terraces. It looks like an open air museum.

The most stunning unspoilt Renaissance square in the whole of Spain. It's has palaces churches from the 16th century. We stayed in the parador set in the square. A 1530 palace. The whole is a unesco site and you can see why.

If you are visiting you will inevitably find yourself in this area. Surround by historic and architecturally interesting buildings this is a good spot for taking pictures, and shade can be found a little further along on the small park/garden commemorating the architect.

Amazing place to wander around and spend a day. Great shops nearby & lots of great places to eat. It was raining when we visited but it was still very beautiful.

It is worth staying overnight in Ubeda in order walk through the silent plazas and see the historic buildings floodlit at night!
