Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Small exhibition in a railway carriage containing amazing assortment of miniature artworks from tiny canvases to paintings on a grain of rice and carvings on a toothpick. Well set out with magnifiers to view each exhibit. Only 3 euros ( 2 for senior citizens) to enter, well worth it. Something a little different.

Amazing little museum, kids loved it. It's small enough for kids to not get bored but there are still plenty of things to see.

Visited oct 2023 - interesting and different attraction - well laid out - cheap - 2 euros - well worth it - donation to charity - many examples of minatures - explanation cards could have had larger typeface - volunteer guide chatty, friendly and helpful - contrast to sun sea and Spain!!

A small (in every sense) but intriguing and interesting museum in Mijas. It’s only €3 entrance fee and you’ll spend maybe 20 minutes staring at impossibly tiny objects. If you’re in Mijas for the day then you should definitely pop in.

A fascinating little trip into the world of miniature. Lots of interesting little pieces from paintings on rice grain to small easel sketches. Would thoroughly recommend and all money goes to a local charity.

I've lived nearby for years and finally visited the museum. It's a marvel and so worth more than one visit.

Paintings on a toothpick, nail as a canvas.. Yep, a smallest thing can used for art. I wouldn't drive a long distance for this small museum, but if you are going to Mijas anyway you shouldn't miss it. With kids it takes about 15 minutes to look at every display.

Easy enough to find this and it’s under a cliff that has other historic items. Small entry fee and everything is miniature.
