Mijas is a gem. The views are awesome. Have lunch or dinner overlooking the Mediterranean. There is a ton of shops, the whole town is special. We drove up the long way through Coin. Check out the olive oil factory in Coin. The whole experience for me was awesome. My son and I went on a donkey ride but I... More

It was very interesting to visit a working Toros, with it being so unique to Spain. Even when there are no events on, it is possible to visit inside the stadium for a small fee. There is also a small 'museum' showcasing some of the clothing - which we were not expecting. Definitely added an authentic Spanish touch to our... More

Just lovely to stroll around when in Mijas. The pace of living seems very far from the madding crowd which makes one very relaxed.

Excellent picturesque place to visit. Interesting bus ride though. Area itself worth looking at at. Pony and trap rides to view other place and also donkey transport. Outstanding view from the mountain overlooking the sea. Warning though when it's cold it's cold. Very nice church and history

Sorry, not the plaza de toros, which is not operational anyway. I would like to report that the lower plaza centrally in Mijas pueblo has been completed and the donkeys with the wagons now have a nicer place under the trees. The plaza is nice with lots of space for entertainment and sports. The restaurants including 2 British seem to... More

This bullring is a little gem in a lovely small Mediterranean village. Midas is a super visit and the bullring is a gem. Whether you agree with bullfighting or not it is a part of Spanish history and, as such, it is worth preserving and visiting. It is a very small bullring and is clearly a historic venue. The only... It's a little hard to find the entrance - the main gates are closed... it's through a small store. There are exhibits relating to bullfighting and famous matadors, as well as the bull ring itself.

This was my first visit too and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Lovely little bull ring with a bit of history. It was wonderful to be able to actually hold a bullfighting cape - extremely heavy!!

At a cost of 4 euros, each, entrance, you may think its expensive. It is well worth it,the atmosphere of being in a bull ring, from the bull or the matadore,is amazing.Forget about the bloodsport,& take in the splendor of the ring.well worth a visit
