I wish I had come here first instead of touring brand name port "cavas." This place is a gem. Jorge helped us discover our specific preferences through a series of tastings, this allowed us to buy a case of 12 different bottles for a transportation fee that was very reasonable. not only did we find a few ports we adore, but also, I hope we have a new friend . His love of wines and his country are contagious. Best time in Porto thanks to Jorge's kindness and professionalism. the packaging was careful. Do NOT leave porto without visiting if you enjoy port wine. Take the time to eat lunch right down the street. Locals dine there. prices are reasonable.

This is an excellent little wine shop and Sonia was so helpful. She made some great recommendations and was able to ship my wines back to the US for me. When FedEx damaged the shipment (or had a great port party!), Sonia handled replacements professionally and quickly. Thanks Sonia!!! I'll be back!
