Set up by Great Vacations to do a tour of Portugal. One tour was this tour at The Burmeister brewery. We were met right on time and had a small group to tour the Burmeister cellars and learn a little more about port. Our tour guide Maria conducted the tour in english. She was very informative and very welcoming of questions. When we were done we were also able to taste some of the regions best. Left feeling we had learned much more of the region historic port. It was a good tour but the port tasting was on par with Taylor's. It was not great. Like I said about Taylor's, they may have really good port but we weren't willing to spend more trying to find out.

Had a most enjoyable and informative tour from Andrea. This was our second port cellar tour and by far the best. Andrea was very knowledgeable and personable and helped us to understand the nuances between the different types of port. She also taught us how to drink it properly. I highly recommend this tour!…
