There are many Port cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia, across the Ponte de Dom Luís I from Porto. We chose Calem for its proximity and short walking distance. We were delighted with the short tour and the enthusiasm of our guide who provided some...More

This tour was well organised and very informative. There were quite a few in our group but we could hear the guide well and found it very interesting. We thought the first part of the tour where you go around the displays was very well...More

Group was nearly 50 persons. Not easy to hear the guide but she did her best. Port tasting was very enjoyable. Trip spoilt by the two sarcastic 'Lads' at the till when we were buying a bottle of Port. Totally unnecessary...

Tried Sandemans - Chaos. Tried a few others and no better. Calem - perfectly organised, times for each language. English/OZ/Kiwis/Canadians/Russians/Germans/etc a really cosmopolitan tour. Great event well worth the small fee

I did the 2:45 tour and it was full and very hard to hear the tour guide. She stated there were only 4 people on the morning tour so I'm assuming it's better to go in the morning. The tasting was good.

What an experience to go to Porto Calem. This tour was part of our Hop On and Hop Off. We got to watch a mini video and then tour the facility and enjoy some Port samples. (the best part :) )
