Stunning views
From Manteigas the road winds up The Valley alongside the river. It is likely one of the most beautiful roads in Portugal. We went both ways up and down after visiting Mount Torre. If you are in Serra da Estrela this is a definite must!

Simply stunning.
We travelled along this valley and found the views simply stunning. The road is narrow and twisting but the views more than repay the effort. Amazing views.

Beautiful Glacial Valley
