This Quinta is located off the Douro on a side river. The place is located on the side of a hill. The terraces are amazing. We were there during harvest time. The port was very good. The service wasn’t so good.

Loved Panascal as they let us roam the vineyards, which is super picturesque. We took a taxi from our hotel (Vintage House) to get to the Quinta (was maybe 10-15 minute drive). It had great views, and a really enjoyable white port as well as...More

Self guided tour in many languages that teach you all about the port wine, the process and the vineyard. The kids really enjoyed their walk through the estate and the grape tasting along the road.

Visited the vineyard at the end of July as a part of a private tour. Really beautiful winery and the port wine tasting with the most relaxing scenery were excellent! Bought also a few bottles to bring home :).

I had the pleasure of visiting and taking the tour with the very informed and articulate Miguel. It was a perfect day—blue skies and warm spring weather. There was a walking tour of the vineyard and production facilities and I learned a lot of new...More

Having navigated the Alto Douro from Spain we finally arrive at the home of my favourite port ‘Fonseca’. We had the short but invaluable tour of the vines, the winery and many feet crushing the grapes, and the tasting itself. A wonderful experience to be had....More

Location is easy to find and very nice and beautiful, we found it very not friendly as there was only one person to give service and take payments so we did not stay long as we wanted.

While the views here are awesome that's where the compliments end.... Greeted with a snarl, no structured tasting options... you choose individually priced ports to taste (which are v expensive vs buying a bottle)... no description or background provided. There are so many other impressive...More
