Relaxing
Aug. 2019
We did the "Aqua Sensations" circuit for one hour. It was so relaxing. It consists of different showers, Sauna, "Hamman" or Turkish bath. The real highlight was the relaxation swimming pool with various massage vents. This cost a couple 56 Euros for one hour and was worth the money.
We got given a tour of the facilities and had all the treatments explained to us.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
You are provided with a towel and robes. You do need a swimming cap - we borrowed these but it would be worthwhile buying some.

On the Way to Buçaco plan your Comfort stop at Luso
Mar. 2019 • Business
Probably I wouldn’t advise you to drive out of the Lisbon/Coimbra/Porto highway if it would only be for Luso, but you should do it for the Buçaco Hotel and Forest. One, two kilometers, before arriving at Buçaco there’s a small thermal spa town named Luso (probably the best well-known Portuguese mineral water). That’s a great place for a comfort stop with cafes and the spring of mineral water where you can fill your bottles for free. Enjoy!

Luso Restorative Water
Mar. 2019 • Couples
We were surprised and impressed to see how many people came with large empty water containers to fill them in a famous Luso water.
The water gushes from a trough in central Luso, and you can also buy it already bottled in many local stores.
We drank the Luso water daily and loved it. What an experience! One you don't see in the northeastern U.S.

Pure water Thermo Spa. A great way to relax.
Nov. 2018 • Friends
After a morning exploring the Bussaco ridge this Thermo Spa in the middle of Luso provided an excellent way to relax and re-charge. Prices are reasonable and it is very clean and welcoming. My partner and I were the only ones there on a wednesday afternoon. Make sure to get a coffee / tea in the next door cafe.

One of the best thermal experience
Aug. 2018 • Couples
We really enjoyed the thermal spa at this place. They have elaborate choices with prices ranging from high to low depending upon what you require. We tool business arrangement, which costed 54€ p.p. and included 1 hour in the spa and 25 minutes relaxing massage. It was really a great experience. Would definitely stay longer next time to enjoy this spa.
The staff are very friendly, professional and patient. Great place to relax and invigorate.

Pleasant place on the way to Bucaco Palace
May 2018 • Family
There Spa Hotel on this Thermas, but we had not time for this at moment, so we tasted mineral water from free public fountain which located just on the left side on front from spa hotel and filled up bottle. There were only few visitors, nice and relaxing atmosphere, wonderful view to mountain - all options for nice pit stop on the way to Bucaco Palace.

Wonderful Surprise
Mar. 2018 • Couples
I was expecting an old place but I found a modern and well decorated Spa. One of the best I tried for sure. Very well organised and the therapeuts are very experienced and nice. The pool circuit is top! Will definitely come back. Prices are very reasonable for the quality which is very high.

Free Mineral water
Sep. 2017 • Family
Great place to fill up all of those plastic empty water bottles ,that have accumulated in the pantry.
Distance from Aveiro city center to there is about 50km one way
We usually take 25 or so 5L empty plastic water bottles and the water taste nicer than the bought one
Considering the cost of fuel and the cost of retail water,it kind of breaks out even
But,its a nice drive, lots of things to see and go on the way
there are street markets there, selling various type of tourist goods, its not a rip off and the prices are reasonable and sometimes find things i have never seen or eaten before. There is parking available, but try and park as close as possible to the spring,as the water bottles weight take their toll after a while taking them to the car
would not recommend going on weekends as there is a lot of people there, tourist buses etc and it also depending on the season and weather

Lovely baths, mediocre massage
Jun. 2017 • Friends
This reminded me of some experiences in eastern European spas. The baths themselves are lovely facilities - lots of different jets and areas to relax. My friend and I also were the only ones there to enjoy it so we had our choice of any area to ourselves. We spent about an hour in the sauna/steam/baths before our massage appointments. Neither of our masseurs spoke English, which was okay, but didn't allow us to communicate where to focus the massage. Also in the quirks department - they require everyone to wear bathing caps, which of course we had to 'borrow' as not something vacationers typically carry!

Fresh luso water
Jul. 2017 • Couples
Because I drink Luso water at home in Macau so I decided to have a visit there. You will find a lot of the people carrying empty bottles to take water back to home. I have tried to drink fresh water from the fountain and it is just so fresh!
There is also a nice cafe next to the fountain where you can chill out.
