Take the harbor cruise to see the naval ships, tour the museum and definitely an extended (guided) tour of the USS Wisconsin. Worth spending your day doing all three. Our guides on the ship were Larissa and Bob, and they provided much more information than...More

So interesting, very impressive, fascinating, you can tour this ship, alone or guided, and there are volunteers all over to answer questions for you.

You can board the USS Wisconsin for a small fee, but go ahead and upgrade the Captain's Tour. The 90 minute insider tour is worth the history lesson and viewing.

I did not expect to have access to so much of the ship. We were able to tour the entire main deck and one deck below as well as two levels above. Although the printed material was informative, next time we will most likely take...More

I was both over and underwhelmed by Nauticus. The museum is huge with lots of exhibits and information on not only the Navy but history and wildlife of Norfolk. I loved petting the sharks and horseshoe crabs. Yet I was disappointed with touring the piece...More

I highly recommend doing the VIP tour. It's an 1 1/2 tour and you will be able to get a tour of the inside . Was very fascinating! Highly recommend!

US Wisconsin is part of the Nauticus Maritime Museum. Kids under 4 are free but the Museum and Ship are a bit much for very young children. The Museum is great and does have kid friendly exhibits and information regarding both the Navy and marine...More

This is a great activity for the family. There is lots to see and the exhibits are explained well. It was fun walking on the ship and talking to the docents.

This was a great learning experience if you have never been on a battleship before. I would suggest combining it with the cruise of the navel shipyard.

I am visiting the Battleship Oct 14th. I am doing the self guided tour followed by a cruise on the Rover. Should I wear a jacket or sweater since it's getting cooler? I wasn't sure if a jacket would get in the way if I am in any tight spaces on the ship. Thank you!

I would bring a jacket because you are on the waterfront and in Norfolk the joke is what 5 minutes and the weather will change. Also, you may want a scarf in case the wind is up. There really aren't any tight places that I... More

With military discount I think it was $21.95 per ticket. Well worth it.
