My partner brought me here for a romantic evening and it was wonderful. We opted for the open bar package which was pricy but worth it and had plenty of great drinks. The signature champagne served when we were seated was fantastic. We also had peach martinis and Pinot noir with dinner which were all great. The food was good... More

Plenty of cool air and plenty of music. Food was mediocre at best. Have had much better food on Spirit of Baltimore, but different town, different place. Good was fish, chicken, pasta, typical. Once done, went top side, but difficult to hear narration of the surrounding views on the Elizabeth River. .

Jazz brunch. 2 1/2 hours. Food very nice. Not your typical cheap pasta buffet. Cod. Prime rib. Chicken. Breakfast basic eggs and bacon. Champagne. Well informed narration through naval base area. Perfect sunshine helped of course. Jazz was way too loud though. People complaining but ignored by musicians. Clean restrooms. Efficient and friendly staff. Easy on and off.

I did not have high expectations when we booked this. It was my wife's idea. This was very much worth the price. Great experience!! If you do drink, buy a drink voucher ahead of time. Four drinks for 24. On board, mixed drinks were 10-18 each, so the voucher was a great deal. Food was good, not great. It is... More

My man, son and myself went on a specialty cruise because of the discounted rate. This was the "Red Hat Ladies" luncheon. It was incredible! Even though there was over 100 "Red Hat Ladies"; we weren't out of place because there was others there also. Beautiful Day, Great food and even an informal tour of the Atlantic Fleet. The DJ... All the meats were superb. The mashed potatoes were homemade, not that instant stuff. Entertaining- PARTY ON A SHIP THE END! Drinks-Pricey but top shelf... More

I was here with the 2017 National Institute of Learning Development (NILD) Conference Group. It was a wonderful time of meeting people in a very special setting. The cruise was so smooth that it was hard to believe we were moving through the Elizabeth River. It was a buffet-style dinner with excellent choices. The ship's staff was very friendly and... More

My group was rather large (54 people - a busload) and we were joined on board by another large group as well as individual parties (from 2 - 10 people). The large groups were seated on the left-hand side of the dining room as we entered the ship (bow). Smaller group were seated on the right-hand side. Each side had... More

Good idea, bad day. This past Saturday, cold temps placed everyone crowded into the first floor, creating three major problems: (1) impossible to hear narration of the excursion; (2) fogged windows made visibility limited; (3) so many people and tables crowded together made trips to the buffet nearly impossible. What a waste of time and money. But, apparently, it's all... More
