We went with our children's private school to the symphony and it was a great experience. The children loved the music and learning about the instruments. We will visit again.

The Virginia Symphony is extraordinary. I saw them perform the music of Styx with guest Dennis DeYoung. The evening was exceptional.

From classical to pops to children's concerts, this orchestra is outstanding. The three primary venues give slightly different experiences, but the music is consistently excellent and nicely blended from traditional classical to contemporary, occasionally featuring a debut piece.
