Visiting this muesum felt more authentic than the tourist shops that are built in the collective area where most of the tourist a directed. We only accidentally stumbled upon this place because we just parked our car and started to walk to try and find the touristy part of the town. This gives one the chance to see who actually... More

Museum presents a good history and timeline of Alberobello. I would have liked to seen more of home the homes were set up historically. They provide you with a galaxy tab that offers narration of each room. Several of the media displays weren't on or working, but I'm assuming that's because we aren't really in tourist season yet and the... More

Nice little museum with all information of the old houses, the trully's, the mushroom's habitations and the works of the farmer's of the region; for a visit it's also nice and better to visit in wintertime.

Visit this museum. It is wonderful. You tour inside a trullo, and see how people lived, and how trulli are maintained today. Excellent

We spent an afternoon and night in Alberobello. It was too late to get a tour from any of the tour companies. So we headed up to this Trullo house with no idea what to expect. When we walked in we were handed a stack of papers to read on our way through the rooms. We quickly realized that we... More

If you are visiting Alberobello and wondering what these trulli are all about and how the town came to be, head up the hill to this low key museum. The museum has several displays explaining the history of the town and the area, and a nice film showing how the trulli are built and repaired. (English subtitles.) You can do... More

Ninety minutes by train from Bari is the quaint town of Alberbello- home to the Trullo Houses and the church of Sts, Cosmo and Damien. It is a contrast from the busyness of Bari and a chance to see some unique architecture of the tiny abodes. Also, at the Central Bar I had good coffee and the best ice cream... More

A great place to visit. Nice to take an afternoon there. My tip is to stop at the little place uptown where the church is and to go down visiting the little shops, restaurants and this museum.

We parked the car in a parking 300 m from this attraction, we were there in December, the parking was pretty full, I think in the summer it could be very difficult to find a spot close to the beginning of the old village. Be prepared for a long walk. They let you see how they are making the houses... More
