We bought dried tomatoes and paid 3 Euros for 150 grams. The going price is 8 Euros for 1 Kilo. They charge 2.5X the going rate. The store is beautiful to look at just don't buy anything. By the way, all the tomatoes seem to be of the same quality and size.

This shop is so quaint. We wanted to buy some snacks and picked up some really nice local cheese and meat. The staff were very friendly, and the pasta display in this shop was amazing, going right up to the point of the trullo. We were also able to see, by way of a sloping mirror, the original bedroom above.... More

The store was very cute and has an enormous amount of savory local selections. I recommended that you buy the Dynamite spread and the almond sweet (alcoholic) beverage. The Tartufa was also very savory and the staff was very friendly.

Really amazing shop, not only because the piles and stacks of colourful pasta, olives, preserves and almond biscuits look so fabulous, but also because everything is such good quality. We bought the traditional broad bean snacks, local pasta and some of the local wine. You could easily wander past and miss it ....so make sure you keep your eyes open!

If you are in Alberobello, you have to pop into this quaint store. It is the only one there where you can see an authentic old kitchen and a traditional bedroom in a trulli. Friendly service and a great selection of things to purchase as souvenirs.
