Visited this impressive beach by road, taking in the wonderful scenery with bated breath at each hairpin bend! Great to get there fairly early to have loads of space BUT then all the day trippers arrived on a flotilla of tour boats of all shapes...More

The beach is really nice and extremely quiet in early June. We walked there from the monastery. The way down is easy, the way up a bit harder (but we did it in 1h15). Shadow is sparse on the path and on the beach, so...More

This is an amazing looong sandy beach, with relatively deep, clear clear blue waters. Choose a day without wind, as winds coming from the North will cause waves. Also, not easily accessible, unless you have a 4x4 car. Better opt for the little boat from...More

Words simply cannot describe the beauty of this beach. It is a long and difficult drive from the town of Andros, but the reward is worth it.

If you are in Andros during summer time you must include a visit to the magical beach of Achla. You will swim in water that can only be described as liquid glass, having exquisite palette of blues and greens. The beach is golden with small...More

As many reviewers have noted, this beach is spectacular, mostly because it is a) remote, and b) hard to get to. Only go by 4x4 or via boat. Avoid the weekends and you'll likely have it mostly to yourself!

Not much to say other than this beach is a must for the island! This beach has amazing crystal clear turquoise water. The fact that there is a boat taking you with just 10 Euros with return makes it even more unique! Just remember to...More

This is one of the finest beaches I've been to; crystal clear water, scenery, old chapel and unspoilt. The road down to it is 8 km off road and descends about 800 vertical metres. The last section to the beach is probably the only difficult-ish...More

Not in early June when I was there. It is a rather wild beach. There was a sort of big tent on the side to protect from the sun. But it was not so big and easily crowded.
