We went to the 360 film first and then this museum. I think it was good to do it in that order, as the museum fleshes out the detail. All very interesting and educational.

Luckily not about dead heroes - but about making things work - this museum centers on the building of an artificial great scale harbour to supply the allies after D-day. Several films shown in English and Spanish. Very nice coverage in photographs of how this...More

Not the most modern of museums but well worth a visit with plenty of material on display and a film shown in several languages.

This small museum compliments the remains of the Mulberry harbour on the nearby beach. There are some excellent models showing just how the harbour was constructed and how it worked as well as other war time memorabilia. Well worth a visit.

Overlooking Gold Beach and the remnants of the Mulbury Harbour, this is a brilliant museum, probably the best we visited in a day of museums. The exhibits were superb, the film and slide show complimentary and the staff wonderfully friendly and helpful.

The Musee du Debarquement is one of the many wonderful museums of the D-Day events in the Normandy beaches area. Well done museum & well worth a stop while in the area.

This museum has lots of artifacts and many examples on display from WWII. There are 2 presentations you should watch (not too long) which help provide a feel for the overwhelming history here.

It's crazy to learn about something, then look out a window and see remnants of those things still out in the ocean. There was so much history to learn here, and lots of things to see. There was a little presentation put on by the...More
