You are in Granada already, so this is a must see area. Enjoy the lake and the volcano views and if you are seeking more adventure take a guided trip to the Mombacho crater. Whatever suits you, this volcano and its surroundings is gorgeous!!!

I don't recommend walking up, it's a very difficult climb! But the hike around the rim is lovely with great views.

We did not do the zip line as we’ve done others in Costa Rica that were much higher and longer.
