This is right next to the park. It has a restored rail car, and was where "the rich people rode into town," according to our guide. The building itself is in really good shape and it gives a snapshot of what life was like in...More

This old railway station is closed and no trains run in Nicaragua now. It is an empty station and old train that they are trying to make into a tourist attraction. There is an old locomotive and not much else to see.

The old train station in Granada gives you an idea of the old times of Granada, good for pictures and a short visit.

There are no trains in Nicaragua. This station closed in 1989 and now they are trying to make it a tourist trap with a locomotive and some cars on the tracks. They are now charging to look inside at abandoned railroad tracks.

The station is querky as Nicaragua has no railway, but the substantial building has been well maintained. The train look a little stranded but they add to the ambiance. Very near is a very nice park in which you can chill.

When I took the coach carriage tour, the driver stopped here. This was an old building that was used for the railway station. Since there are no more trains in Nicaragua, it is now a escuela and is used as a vocational trade school where...More
