Went to the cemetery today with friends. The crypt for the Ex-Presidents was very good. A lot of young people are buried in the cemetery due to the war.

I recommend a carriage ride with a stop at the historic cementary. Beautiful marble statuary and interesting to check for some of the oldest graves in Latin America. Great photo op.

Although the cemetery is quite a walk from the centre, it is worth the effort of going here. The most historically important and architecturally interesting monuments are in the area leading from the main gate to the large Capilla de Animas and just behind this...More

This cemetery was more interesting than the one in New Orleans. The monuments were outstanding and very ornate. I enjoyed looking at the dates on the gravestones.
