This is where the main Ganga Aarti happens in Rishikesh. Very serene place. Reasonably clean. Ganga Aarti every evening at sunset is well organised and is a event not to miss

There are a lot of tourists coming here but many are Indian tourists so you don't feel that sense of disney land. It feels authentic and spiritual in an honest way.

U can immerse ashes only in Haridwar , not Rishikesh

We just showed up little early to see the aarti. You can check with the hotel people about the timings of the arti and go early so that you have a better place to seat near the water with a better view. We didn't have to... More
