There is snokeling right off the beach on some beaches and you can take a boat to other snorkeling sites. See as much as you can of this wonderful island.

With crystal clear waters, white sand, and plunging cliffs and rock formations around it, I felt like I had stumbled into a rare gem that would make a James Bond movie location scout shiver with excitement. But the best part was getting there: Trekking from...More

Snorkeling, swimming, lazing by the beach, picnic or just gaze up to the mountains, out to sea. This is beautiful place.

We went with a fisherman on his dug out canoe An experience indeed, just make sure you leave before the tide goes out, otherwise you may get stuck as we did. Still fun in the sun

After seeing all to little and pollution in Dili it was refreshing to see the crystal clear water and almost white sand of these beaches. I also dove the outer reef just a short distance from the beach. Well worth the trip.

Some great snorkeling can be done here if you are prepared to swim out, enjoy the peace and quite and just enjoy the moment. It is like living on your own deserted island.
