Very interesting!

We enjoyed ourselves at this museum, which was recommended as part of a larger tour. Definitely worth a stop on your way.

The museum displays a very interesting collection of local berber culture, which is on the brink of being extinct. The owner Abdel and his wife are very friendly and provide valuable insights in their collection and in the local cultural heritage. Definitly worth visiting!

We had this guided tour of the palm gloves in Skoura as part of of our High Atlas tour package and it is the best guided tour we had in Morocco. Our guide, Abdelmoula EL Moudahab, was full of information. He is obviously passionate about his culture and history. He told us about local history, legend and customs, details of... More

Abdelmoula is disclosing some secrets of the beautiful oasis of Skoura. He is digging deep in the local traditions of the region. The highlight of the visit to the museum is the rich detailed comments of Abdelmoula.

Nice, short (approx 1 hr) tour from our hotel through the trees with views of various Kasbahs, including entry into one (that was now occupied by a family) which was very interesting (and cool)! This was arranged for through Sun Trails, our tour company, as part of a 5 day trip that included Skoura (overnight). Would recommend. Knowledgeable, friendly guide,... More

Like my friend noted below, we really enjoyed this walking tour of the area. Abdel met us at the hotel we were staying at in Skoura and took as on a morning walk where we crossed the land, saw different landscapes, different trees and got a great lesson on the region's history and people. I also enjoyed seeing the inside... More

We thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the desert oasis, which included extensive description of the region's history, vegetation and people. The indoor kasbah tour was the highlight.

During our stay in Skoura, we did a walk trough the PalmGrove, guide by Abdel, director of the museum. Abdel, who fluently speaks English and French, is an expert and can tell you all about the history and culture of the Palm Groove. We crossed land and (dry) rivers, saw the different landscapes, fruit- and palm plantations, visited some of... More

Fantastic tour guide, really enthusiastic and informative. We paid 20DH each for our tour of two people, and the small group size wasn't a problem at all. The museum was actually really useful before our visit to Ait Ben Haddou, as we understood all the traditional berber items we were seeing in the city.
