My Sons of the American Revolution chapter had a meeting at Chrysalis Vineyards. They hosted us in their underground cellar, which was a great place. The wine tasting was tasty and educational. I bought many bottles of wine.

I took out of town guests here on Saturday, April 1. The wine tasting was conducted in the basement in a nondescript room. Could have been in a warehouse or a storage facility. Absolutely no ambiance. For $15 a person, the wine tasting should offer some sort of "experience". Had it been on the main floor with a view of... More

Thanks Jim! Very generous and warm atmosphere. The wine was tasty and well presented. We spent quite awhile at this vineyard.

This is not our first visit, but since they consistently deliver a great experience, I thought it was time to write a review. The staff here is wonderful, courteous and hospitable! The views are beautiful, and best of all, the wines really are terrific! Something to look forward to, probably as soon as this summer (2017), they are adding a... More

We were served by Hannah who made terrific food pairing suggestions for each wine that we tasted, and the tastings were plentiful! It was really nice having so many different types of local vine wine to taste, as opposed to just 4 or 5. We chose a bottle to enjoy upstairs with the beautiful view, and were sorely tempted by... Huge winery! Large tasting room so we didn't have to wait in line. Tasting fee included 10 wines. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about the wines. I kinda felt like our tasting was a little bit rushed even though they were not busy at all. I don't like to guzzle pour after pour....it doesn't allow me to truly taste the... More

The grounds are beautiful and plentiful. It's historic and off the road, yet convenient. Of course there's wine tasting, and we've brought our own picnic basket. It's not too far from DC, or even Fairfax, VA.

Nice views outside but not sure why we got our wine in an ice bag, strange it was in a bag and not an ice bucket. Very strange and just wanted a bottle and was a little wait.

The wines were just okay. They give you a list of what you are tasting (10 wines). The descriptions tell you what you should be tasting/smelling. However, the wines taste like they are watered down... Love the place but not the wines :^( Maybe in a couple years we will try them again.

The new Chrysalis tasting center at the Ag Complex just a short drive off Rt.50 west of Aldie, VA is a magnificent building with panoramic views. As VIP members of the winery, we attended a recent special evening event where the wine flowed freely and the selection of gourmet foods were delicious. The quality and variety of the wines at...
