We visited as part of a kayaking tour which I highly recommended. We had a tasting with Janice who was incredibly knowledgeable about not only their wines but also Virginia wines in general. We enjoyed all the wines but were particular drawn to both the chardonnays in part because it was a warm day. They have outdoor seating where you... More

Stopped here on a day trip up from Virginia Beach. Was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Eastern Shore wine and more surprised at the knowledgeable and friendly staff. The even gave us a great recommendation for dinner. If you are driving up Rte 13 take a detour it's worth the stop

My husband and I loved the grounds, the tour, and the lady (so sorry we didn't get her name) was so knowledgeable we learned so much. Would definitely return here. We bought 6 bottles of wine it was wonderful. Definitely recommend a stop here!

Great wine. Beautiful place. If it were warmer, we would have loved to sit outside. Staff were knowledgeable and polite!

Little bit off the beaten path but worth exploring. Sits right in the middle of a large farm. Nice small winery with good selection of wines. $5 tasting. Thoroughly enjoyed the conversation with the owner. Quite knowledgeable on the wines. Came away with a couple of different wines to be enjoyed at home. Definitely worth a stop. Believe they are... Good selection of french styled wines. All grapes grown on premise (i believe). Nice, quaint tasting room, well off the beaten path. If your on 13 south its worth the stop. 7 wine samples for $5 not bad, $8 to keep the glass. Bought 2 bottles for home. Both under $25. Tasty wine and decently priced. My 17 month old... More

Our second visit to Chatham Vineyards on Church Creek was even more enjoyable than our first. Owner and winemaker, Jon Wehner, graciously took the time to explain his task of the day (racking some of the reds), and shared with us his plans for the future of the farm. Even though the fruit flies were out in force, which is... More

This winery is tucked back off a country road and behind a corn field. Your may feel as though you've taken a wrong turn, but you haven't. It's a cute little tasting room tucked in the middle of nowhere. Tastings are $5 and there are some very nice wines there. I need to find how I can get them into... More

We stopped on our way home from Virginia beach. Small winery with friendly staff. Tasting was $5 per person. Enjoyed the story of the farm. Came home with four bottles of wine.
