Provides a respectful marker tor the Stonewall Jackson gravesite. Nothing special to see other than noting the location of Jackson's final resting place.

Beautiful cemetery. Ample parking available. Burial site of Stonewall Jackson minus his left arm. His left arm was amputated in the civil war battle.

No trip to Lexington would be complete without a visit to the two famous grave sites, that of Lee and Jackson. Jackson's grave is but a short walk from available parking and well marked. He is buried with his wife there. And, to date, no...More

After touring Stonewall Jackson's house, we drove down the street to the cemetery to see his gravesite. Small cemetery, well maintained, nice tribute to Jackson.

For two who Admired SW for so long, it meant a lot to walk into a beautiful place of rest and reflection. The cemetery is beautiful and is filled with many honorable men, especially Stonewall’s monument and grave.

That's about it. A circular spot in the middle of Stonewall Jackson Cemetery with a statue. The unreconstructed confederates use this a a mecca for their annual pilgrimage to Lexington for SJ birthday in Jan so avoid it then so sure!

A fitting memorial to a brilliant military mind and one of the best tacticians ever -- and who is still studied today. Not only that -- he was a great Christian, a compassionate and caring person who taught black people's Sunday school classes in addition...More

So glad I got to visit General Jackson's final resting place. I visited the grave of his left arm @ Ellwood Manor and wanted to visit the rest of him. It is a beautiful monument to him right in the center of the cemetery.

Fitting memorial to honor this great leader! His resting place is well maintained and has a bigger impact if you refresh your memory on his role and exploits during the Civil War.
