The Leesburg Parks website stated their were trails, a pond with a fishing pier and a dog park. Well there is a pond, I saw no pier though there were a couple men fishing. There was a really small dog park being used by several people. And no trails. I don't know if they haven't cleared them yet for the... More

The dog park is safe and enclosed, with space for large and small dogs. However, I never use it. I use the picnic areas and the walk around the pond. There are small fish in the pond, and children (as well as adults) enjoy it.

a Leesburg Landmark, accessable by way of the road or through the back woods, its a beautiful sanctuary especially in the winter. There are nice community classes and events here as well.

Park is an older park now hidden off of Rt. 15 South of Leesburg that has had some improvements made to it. Entry is beside Food Lion and turn right along side the Day Care Center and over the oneway bridge. There's a nice size fishing pond but the most popular attraction is the good size dog park fenced off... More

I was appalled by the owners of dogs in this park. One dog kept repeatedly biting at my poor dog and the owner ignored this or laughed. The sign clearly states no small children and this is ignored also. It's a shame because there are some very nice people and dogs who seem to go there, but too many who... More

We were looking for a place to walk our doggie after running around and doing errands and I remember that there is a gated puppy park next to the parking. Dog enjoyed chasing the ducks before entering the pen to have a bimble about...no other pooches to play with but he did his business.....win win.

This park is a special place for dogs with owners very much invested in its care and maintenance. It is beautiful place with a lake and a number of grassy knolls that are just right for picnics or stretching out to relax. The lake invites those who, familiar with Izaak Walton, bring a rod and reel to try out their... More

This dog park is HORRIBLE. As soon as we let our dog in other dogs attacked him. Not in a playful way either. One dog went after ours so aggressively that my husband had to restrain the other dog while I got our dog out of there. The dog even scratched the heck out of my husbands arm. He was... More

As mentioned by the others, the park is small, but a nice place to have a picnic. There are a couple of small, well-maintained grassy areas, but no play area for children. The stream that runs through is quick-moving, but not very play-friendly. The dog park is the highlight of the park, although it can become very crowded at peak... More
