Fun trip on the ferry in big van pulling trailer, lots of bikes. Takes a lot of time to wait in line but pretty cool.

The ferry is a great way to get between Maryland and Virginia. During rush hour the peaceful cruise across the Potomac is great to reduce blood pressure.

Good, honest food hot off the grill. If you're not in a hurry, take a few minutes to talk to the store owners/staff, appreciate the lines above your head that mark various floods, and share a laugh.

So relaxing and fun to do. Ride in style across the river as in olden days. The owners are nice. Make sure you have cash. No credit cards.
