Approximately 16 miles of trails, being a railroad trail it is as flat and straight as they were able to make it. There are some scenic parts along the way. If you enjoy getting away from the crowds while enjoying some exercise in the outdoors...More

You need a private permit to walk this trail. Have to get it via mail, so allow sometime to get it. Watch for horses. Some areas of the tail can be quite muddy for a few days after a rain.

Beautiful nature trail. Passes through beautiful nature areas of King George. I live adjacent to the trail. People walk it, jog, and ride bikes. Occasionally someone might ride a horse. Some areas easier to traverse than others.

I love hiking the part of this trail (from 610 east toward Dahlgren) that winds past the marsh where there is so much wildlife to be experienced! :)

This trail is by my house and I love having access to it. A little buggy in the summer and you have to spray insect repellant for safety, but this trail is amazing and convenient for long runs.

Was there yesterday. Met a family out for a walk while the kids rode their bikes. Wonderful day. We were at the Bloomsbury Road trailhead.

I approached this site with low expectations. I was pleasantly surprised. Some rail to trail conversions suffer from exposure to sun or too many visitors. This one is not widely known but has a great bicycle riding surface and walking path. It is largely under...More
