This is a great spot for a nature walk or even a run. The trails are nice and well marked and there are lots of beautiful flowers in bloom. If you are around JMU, this is worth the visit.

There is possibly no better place to welcome Spring than the Arboretum - azaleas and dogwood brightening shady spots; daffodils, blue bells, and tulips bursting at the seams with springtime abandon, and much more!

We go there occasionally for a pleasant walk with or without our dog. The venue is very well groomed with many species of plant life identified.

Despite being in the middle of a growing campus and town, this is a great getaway for a walk with the dog and family. Great if your kids need to run around a grassy area and relaxing for myself. A lot of botanical information if...More
