Well-established and friendly service. The staff are knowledgable and the inventory is eclectic. For whatever you might want in fishpond or garden statuary, it is there or they will gladly get it. Family owned and a tradition for the area.

Absolutely loved this place! Next time we come to visit my son and family I'll be stopping here again! We'll need to buy a truck though!

I was stunned & amazed when I got to Harper's establishment. This place is like a cement yard statue museum or art gallery. It turned into a park when we got back to the water garden section. The sound of all that running water was delightful & the darkroom with the bridge to walk over the lighted water garden was... More

Harper's is not just your usual "garden center." You will find some very interesting "yard art" in the way of unique statuary, pond equipment, and all sorts of garden knick-knacks. Every time that we are in the Harrisonburg area, we stop at Harper's and wind up taking some unusual piece back home. Our neighbors always comment on "where can I... More

I've been looking for the perfect concrete statue for my lawn for about 30 years -- and I finally found it at Harper's. It's a lovely, noble dog holding a basket of flowers in his mouth, and it cost about one-third of what I expected. The concrete was well cast, which is not always the case, and the seams pretty... This place makes a huge variety of lawn ornaments, planters, outdoor chimineas and stepping stones. Also supplies water garden necessities and very creative ways to display them. Staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. Family owned and operated and it shows.

We've customers for many years. The statues we've purchased 10 years ago, still look just as beautiful as the day we brought them home. The prices are unbelievable low. The staff is always friendly. We love to shop at this place! And no, we're not related to or personal friends with anyone on staff. Lol

Be sure to stop at this wonderful lawn ornament place and be prepared to be amazed! We bought a squirrel, racoon, acorn and gargoyle lawn ornament after seeing some at a roadside produce place/farm in Stuarts Draft. Prices were reasonable and the little fellow who assisted us couldn't have been nicer, even packing our items in the truck. I could... More
