I've heard alot of good things about The Floyd Country Store, went to see for myself. Friendly people, great food, and some awesome Bluegrass Music. The whole town was friendly and there's tons to stores to visit. I will be going back.

Good place for souvenir clothing and unusual mountain items. Not far from the Blue Ridge Parkway. The store hosts a Jamboree on Friday nights.. Appalachian music.

It's definitely not the closest, but it's not far- we stayed at the Pine Tavern Lodge and loved it! Have fun, it's a great little town!
