[FULL DISCLOSURE: I am a member of this church, but I will confine my review to the Historic Church and grounds. I date this as having "visited" in Oct of 2016, since that was my only option.] If you happen to be visiting the independent City of Falls Church, there are a limited number of historic places to visit (check... Fall Church, Va. is named for the church, and you need to see it. With George Washington and others worshipping here long ago, the church is modern in many ways. Check out the "Episcodome," a tongue-in-cheek reference to the large worship space. And it's the people there who give the place a sense of welcome and wonder.

I was a member of this historic episcopal church from 2002 through 2014. In 2004, the majority of the congregation found the Episcopal Church too liberal and voted to leave. But a small but vibrant group maintained the congregation, first in a living room and then in space provided by the Presbyterian Church across the street. After six years, the... More

One of the region's best farmers' markets is open every Saturday with excellent producers and great flower vendors. Worth the trip. Also stop by Brown's Hardware on Broad Street for old-fashioned personal service and advice.

If you are from Arlington County, you will understand. It is a pretty strict rule, specially when coming off I-66. Excellent neighborhood abutting Arlington. I-66 separates the two cities. The main street is Broad street. It has a few reasonable hotels/motels on the main strip. Will be useful for budget minded tourists. A theaters that has many tribute band performance... More

A lovely service in the historic sanctuary of the falls church. It's a warm congregation, with a good worship service. I do wish they have some work done on their organ however, That old thing sounds like a heap of whistles!

Whether you're interested in the property for its more current history or the role it has played in events in American history, there's plenty to see here! We welcome you on Sunday mornings for two services - 9am in the main sanctuary and 11am in the historic church. (If it's summer between Memorial and Labor Days, we have combined services... More

We came here to explore this church while still searching for homes in the Falls Church area. We have three young kids and were looking for a family-friendly Episcopal environment. We found it in spades. We were warmly welcomed, embraced by congregants of all ages, and invited to come back when we moved to Falls Church. We did, and it... More
