Love this state park campground. It's always clean and quite. The sites are large with lots of easy trails to walk or bike. The lake is within walking distance with a nice beach area. The only thing that could be improved is 50 amp service....More

This state park is centered on Claytor Lake, a beautiful setting in SW Virginia. The marina has a wide variety of rental boats and floats at reasonable rental pricing.

We visited this park mid October to do some easy hiking as it was rather warm. Very nice park, well maintained with plenty of restrooms. The trails were easy as expected but very nice, through woodland and near the lake. Very enjoyable.
