It's pretty amazing that there is so much history in this small town. My daughter was not onlyamazed by all the battle history, but blown away by the dinosaur foot prints. Quite a historical town. Right under our nose.
The museum is part of the train station complex at the end of East Davis St. It is a thorough and interesting history of the town and the surrounding areas, from colonial times thru the Civil War, and to present day.

Not well done or extensive displays. There is alot of man made history in the area as well as geological history and the museum barely touches upon all that. As a preface to all that history it is fine but don't expect anything in depth.
I made my third visit to our local museum with a third pair of grandkids this summer - all enjoyed the visits, including the four year old making her first. For the others it was a return visit but age changes what attracts their attention!...More
