Founded in 2000, Veramar Vineyard was one of the first successful wineries in the northern Shenandoah Valley. The vineyard is run by James and Della Bogaty, who were original members of the Shenandoah Valley Wine Trail. Justin, their son, is the winemaker. He is a graduate of VMI and has a certificate of oenology from UC Davis. Our wine is internationally-acclaimed, and is made at the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

I thought the young lady giving the wine tasting was very knowledgeable and did the tasting in good timing, not lingering and not rushed. We enjoyed the majority of their wines. You can not eat your own food inside but you can outside on patio....More

This is a beautiful winery. It was way too hot to enjoy a glass of wine outside. So we enjoyed the wine inside. We really enjoyed the whites, but we're not overly impressed with reds. Overall worth a visit!
