Small entry fee to enter State Park. Gate attendant had maps of trails and gave directions to trail heads. Wonderful fall hiking day, encountered trail runners and mountain bikers. Did find a geo cache in the park. One trail has historical features labeled with interpretative...More

A very nice State Park. Campsites and several trails that vary in length. Throughout the trails you can see the remains of an old ghost town. pretty neat. Black Bear sighted when we were there, so be careful.

Very nice quiet campground. Sites don't always offer the privacy I prefer hence the 4 stars rather than 5. Great checkin process, friendly staff, nice bathrooms and showers. Wood is $6 an armload, quite pricy. Many trails available to spend a short or long hike....More
