What a great stop for our family. My mom loves watching glass artists at work, so this was a thrill for her. My kids, who hadn't seen glass work created before were mesmerized. I'm always fascinated how someone can take a bit of nothingness and then design and create something so beautiful. Thank you for the experience!

I love art glass so we stopped at this small studio. There is a seating area behind a window where you can watch the glass being blown. They were finishing a piece when we arrived so we were able to watch. There are lots of beautiful products, Glen makes everything except the jewelry. I bought a small vase but it... More

Ok I can't stop buying the glass balls to hang in my window. I really enjoying a visit to sit and watch the owner create masterpieces in glass. There is a viewing window into the studio with a detailed illustration of the whole process...worth a stop.

My children (ages 6 and 3) sat mesmerized for about 45 minutes watching Glenn make a bowl and a glass. The array of finished products for sale is stunning. Well worth the trip!

I highly recommend this experience. Fire and glass, light and beauty. The glassblower dances and spins long metal poles with globs of glowing hot glass on one end. He blows into the other end and suddenly, the glob is a vessel, light and beautifully balanced. Magic

My husband has been intrigued by glass blowing ever since we took a tour of Mass College of Art in Boston MA for our daughter. She too loved the glass blowing area they had. So when we were in Vermont vacationing, we came across Mr. Zeimke's studio and work shop. He had a nice, comfortable area where you could view... More

We got to watch the owner make a cobalt-blue optic-twist vase - the process was fun to watch. The owner and assistant were very willing to explain each step of the process - and that kept out attention even in the heat and humidity. Stop by and learn about glassblowing.

Close to Waterbury Center, easy to spot from the road. Has a small parking lot for cars, so no need to worry about that. We arrived as he was about to begin a new project. The whole process took about 30 minutes, but it was still quite interesting. The merchandise available to buy wasn't cheap, but after seeing the process... More
