Great ski terrain and many, many improvements over the years. Good local food and drink, great atmosphere, casual, friendly. Staff are excellent. We visit year round and when this place gets a good rating from many ski magazines, it is right on. Great fun during...More

Thanks for the 5 bubble review! Wow, we really appreciate your feedback. We agree with you, Sugarbush and the Mad River Valley have some of the finest terrain on the east. Win Smith is an incredible owner / operator, skiing over 100 days per season....More

Thanks for your review and feedback. You're right, the Valley has had its ups and downs with restaurants opening and closing. We are excited to share that the Worthy Burger (moving into old Home Plate), Lawson's Brewery (new near Big Pic), Mad Burger ( opened...More

If you are looking for terrain of all types, Sugarbush is the place to go! If we lived closer this would be our home base for skiing. Pass prices are very affordable for what you get! Now, lets pray for lots of snow.

Sugarbush has a lot of ungroomed stuff and man-made bumps to challenge thrill-seekers; you might even catch a glimpse of resident ski legend John Eagan. There is a run from the top called Jester (elevation of 3,975 feet!) that winds around the outer edge of...More

Thanks for the review Andrea and your advice is spot on! Mt. Ellen is a great spot to avoid the crowds. We'd eat lunch at Walt's every day if we could. John Egan is definitely the man for a mountain tour...that is if you can...More

Wonderful ski area. This area has evolved over the years into a well run first class resort. Always many activities for the whole family or singles during the season.

We skied at Mt Ellen, which is less busy than Lincoln Peak. It's pure Vermont, an older lodge, with character. The trials are what it is all about. Panorama trial, a catwalk at the summit of Mt Ellen, is one of the most picturesque trials...More
