Enjoyed everything about this resort. Mountain is great for all levels of skiing. Loved staying at Claybrook and being right on the mountain.

Not my favorite ski resort. Lot of walking from parking lot to lodge and between lifts. What is really not guest friendly is all the lifts at the base lodge don't open at the same time- this leads to long lines. Additionally the chair that takes you to the other Mountain,Ellen, doesn't open till 10. I just don't understand. Also... More

We have been skiing here for the last 5 winters and it is our favorite ski resort in New England. It has something for every level of skiing. And the apres skiing is fun too!

Disappointed that the mountain couldn't open due to high winds on Feb 13, 2017..but the powder and $14.00 lift tickets made up for things on Feb 14, 2017. Mountain is open 100%!! Amazing!!

I've been here before a LONG time ago but i decided to return with my son. His first ski trip was in New Zealand so while staying with my sister in NJ, and with plenty of other closer ski options, I decided to go to Vermont!. We booked online and spoke to people on the phone. As there weren't many... More

Sugarbush is one of the best places to ski in the Northeast. The terrain is varied and vast, and kept in great condition. 2017 has been a very snowy year making this into a must do experience. The facilities are modern and there are great experiences for couples, families with kids and groups of friends. Love the Wunderbar experience with... More

My husband and I got free passes after attending a Warren Miller film. Beautiful mountain with a variety of terrain. Super cute resort. A bit pricey so we stayed elsewhere, but enjoyed a day of skiing! Would definitely with free or discounted passes!

Saturday was our first time at Sugar Bush. We received a military discount on our lift tickets which made them a reasonable price. The conditions were good, except it was packed beyond belief. We were a little upset the "mile long" lift chair wasn't open to go to the other mountain. We skied from 9am-2pm.

Thank you for your great review. In regards to the Slide Brook lift that connects to our other mountain, we can only run that lift under certain conditions. When you were visiting, we didn't yet have enough snow to safely get vehicles out to the lift in the event of an evacuation. And though we've never had to evacuate that... More

I don't ski as much in the east anymore, but when I'm back visiting family, I'm at sugarbush 80% of the time. Awesome terrain and usually great snow. The surprise mountain effect / lake Champlain snow that falls on occassion really makes the conditions great even with a dusting to a couple inches. Castlerock: Best skiing in the east!!

We had a pretty good time skiing here last weekend. It was March-like conditions, so the snow was a bit heavy (we were pretty sore by 3pm), and there were a lot of natural moguls, especially on the black diamond trails, which wasn't great for someone like me who wants a steep but open terrain. Overall a good day of... More

Thank you for your nice review. The apres scene can get busy on weekends. An alternative suggestion could be to head into Timbers Restaurant for apres or avoid the often busy time from 3-4:30. John More
