We camped in lean-tos. The sites were very well maintained as were the entire grounds. The hike to the point was pleasant. Pool was fun for kids. Bathrooms/showers a bit dated.

If you like tent camping but you like to go to bed early and/or you have difficulty falling asleep, STAY AWAY. This is an open area campsite and if you have the misfortune of having loud neighbors, you will not get a good night's sleep....More

Lovely. Peaceful ten minute walk. Beautiful views of Lake Champlain. Gorgeous views of the Adirondak Mountains. Be aware the park closes Columbus day weekend in October.

Beautiful views of Lake Champlain and a nice easy walk for toddlers. There is a nice playground and the restrooms are the nicest I have ever used in a state park.

While on a motorhome trip we needed a sani-dump. Perfect spot while driving through. Were able to use free of charge. I could see kayakers who stayed and apparently had water access. Park was quiet with nice sites.

Button Bay has it all: nature trails, walking trails, camping, swimming in a pool or lake and plenty of space to spread out.
